There is no secret to getting into the elusive “top 10 club” and here are our top 5 tips
1. Consistency throughout the office
There’s no point in one negotiator booking all their viewing appointments on dezrez whilst another books theirs in a paper diary. To get into the top ten, all staff need to be utilizing dezrez for all their day to day tasks. That often means a boss holding firm and ensuring that the entire branch and agency are consistent in their usage of the software.
2. Use it, Use it, Use it!
There is no simpler way to put it. The bare facts are that you must utilize as much of the software as you possibly can. When you book a viewing, make sure you have a viewing reaction to back it up. When you take a new property on, instantly mail merge it out to all appropriate applicants – then remind yourself to call them up a day or two later & be sure to log your conversation with them. Sold a property? Recorded the offer? Automatically sent out the solicitors letters & started the sales progression? If you aren’t currently doing these things then you won’t ever make into the big leagues!
3. Training, Training, Training!
Dezrez is not the same piece of software it was 10 years ago, or even 2 years ago! The very best users of the software realise the value of a professional, tailor made training session. Its all about keeping up momentum and using the tools available to you in order to grow your business – “time waits for no man” as they say.
5. Champions are made not born!
Make sure that no matter how big or small the office, you have 1 member of staff that is your champion of the software. Someone who knows it inside out, someone that has had the training, is constantly testing the software to find out what it can do for them and most importantly, someone that can transfer knowledge to new members of staff to ensure that consistency is king.
