Dezrez are part of a world-first collaborative approach designed to make the home-moving process simpler, smoother and more certain for buyers and sellers across the UK.
Working alongside fellow Welsh businesses Dawsons, an independent multi-branch estate agency in South Wales, and Credas, the UK’s number one identity verification provider for property, Dezrez's conveyancing product, Legals by Dezrez completed the very first live property transaction using Credas’ Property Compliance Wallet – a world-first innovation in digital identity and legal compliance.
The Property Compliance Wallet enables secure, reusable identity and compliance checks to be completed once and shared across the transaction, marking the latest step in a growing collaboration between the South Wales–based partners, and helping to reduce duplication and improve certainty for buyers, sellers and property professionals alike.
This milestone also demonstrates how integrated services such as MarketReady, which brings together property compliance and legals at an earlier stage, help make the complicated simple for estate agents and their customers.
Jo Summerfield-Talbot, Sales Director at Dawsons, said: “Buying and selling homes works best when agents, conveyancers, and compliance partners are aligned and communicating clearly from the start. Strong collaboration means fewer surprises and a far smoother journey for everyone involved.”
“At Dawsons, we believe technology should support people, not replace them. Innovation should remove duplication and friction, while keeping the human side of the process front and centre.”
Working with Dawsons on the first Compliance Wallet transaction reinforces our shared commitment to deliver innovation and better outcomes for estate agents and their customers. This technology removes unnecessary repetition from the home-moving process and delivers on our promise of more certainty, less hassle and putting people at the centre.
By enabling compliance checks to be securely reused, the Wallet is expected to cut the number of times a buyer/seller needs to complete the same compliance checks from 5.4 times to just once.
With transformative regulation on the horizon, including sweeping housing reforms, this partnership will continue to support customers with fast and trusted compliance checks.
The collaboration is also a strong example of Welsh businesses working together to lead positive change within the property sector not just in Wales, but across the UK, benefiting buyers, sellers and property professionals alike.
Jo concluded: “We’re incredibly proud to be a Welsh business working alongside other companies across South Wales to improve the home-moving experience for buyers and sellers. It’s a strong example of local businesses collaborating and leading positive change in the property sector.”
